I always stop in this coffee shop and get a big creamy stupid latte before I go to OT. I just did that and this guy was in there buying a gift certificate and he said “And put this pretty young lady’s drink on there.” And he bought my coffee. I tried to refuse and he said “Don’t worry about it, just do something nice for someone later today.” That kinda blew me away. Paying it forward really works. Do something nice for someone today.

Nice post, Amy. I have already started paying it forward.
Keep up the good work.
Good for you!!!!
good post, you have been RAKed, aka Random Acts of Kindness or RAK, I belong to a group on facebook 365 random acts of kindness (or similar name? bad memory here) where people are supposed to post their daily act to give others inspiration…I have yet to post daily or even often on there, but I like to read positive things
When I was in the hospital, a PT gave me a book called “29 Gifts – How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life.” It’s a true story about a young woman who was diagnosed with MS and her life started to unravel and she was told by her spiritual guide to give a small gift(or RAK) every day for 29 days. It’s pretty incredible what happens.
thanks, I will check out to see if the library has that book
