It’s almost nap time for me. I love it that I’m 33 years old and have to lay down for a nap EVERY day. That rocks. I mean I’m not complaining. Well, yes I am. I used to absolutely LOVE the opportunity to take a nap. Now, not so much. It’s all relative.

My OT/PT’s have always prescribed a nap a day for me, but I take them only when I’m totally exhausted.I stayed up late last night (book group) and walked more than my usual, and today had an exhausting pool session, and will stay up late tonight (our daughter coming to dinner), so a nap tomorrow is likely.
Brief (15 minutes) is better than long (1 hour) for me.
Power naps huh? My naps always end up being an hour or more.
Do you also do twitter and inform us of bedtimes? Sorry about snarking.
HAHA! No I don’t have any of those social media sites.
I HATE that I NEED a nap. It used to be a luxury, here and there. Now it’s mandatory unless I’d like to feel horrible, have slurred speech and a falling down left side of my face. Sooo hoping our new baby will cooperate with my napping/sleeping schedule. He will be getting “sleep trained” @ 6 months if he’s not a born natural sleeper. Sleeping is a huge requirement in our house.
I never had a facial palsy but my speech gets a lot worse when I’m really tired and feeling like crap. Sometimes I just don’t talk, I just grunt at people. I had a friend who used to say “Are you in grunt mode?”
The luxury of naps has worn thin for me. But now, it’s the only way I make it through the day.
Oh yeah me too. At first, it was quite the luxury – now, uugghhh.
Yeah, it sounds great and all but it really eats into my time. If I had more flexibility on the sleep, I might actually keep up with my life!
I don’t have a life right now and I feel like I’m behind on it!
