Happy Birthday Barb!!
Mine was a few days ago and I dreaded it. The last 3 birthdays I have absolutely dreaded. Last week was incredibly emotional and depressing for me. I thought it wouldn’t be, I thought it wouldn’t affect me like that because I have a lot of good things in my life now but it did. It kinda made me crazy. I hope this is the last one like that. I used to kinda sorta like that day of the year but things are very different now. Pat took me out to dinner Friday night to a Uzbeki beki stan stan restaurant. Can anyone tell me why I said that? It was delicious. Last night we went to an awesome French restaurant. Today we’re having Italian. After today, I’m never eating again.

And just for laughs, this might be the greatest video on YouTube…..
Happy Birthday, Barb! Happy belated Birthday, Amy!
Thank you Shelly!!
Happy birthday, Barb. Happy birthday, Amy…sorry it was a depressing day, wishing you a great year ahead!
Thanks Elizabeth! 🙂
Happy Birthday, Barb! and Happy Birthday Amy! You both deserve to eat like crazy for a week. Amy, are you comfortable enough with Patrick to eat spaghetti noodles in front of him? Haha – I’m just kidding – Enjoy the Italian food.
Thanks Lori! Yeah I’m comfortable enough now. When we first started dating, he asked me if I wanted to go to an Ethiopian restaurant (we really like trying different cuisines) and I said “absolutely not, way too much spillage potential.” But now I don’t care, I’ll spill in front of him. And we have since been to the Ethiopian restaurant.
HAPPY BIRTHDA, BARB, AND BELATED WISHES, AMY, WAS YOUR UPCOMING BIRTHDAY REALLY AT THE ROOT OF YOUR SADNESS? TRY NOT TO GET DEPRESSED ABOUT A BIRTHDAY. YOU’RE SO YOUNG!
Thank you Sally! It wasn’t completely at the root no but the majority of the sadness was caused by my birthday, yes.
Thank you everyone, for the birthday wishes… I had a fun day. Nearly finished the Boston globe crossword, watched my daughter run her first half-marathon (no walking), went out on a row on the harbor and held onto the oar w both hands for about 5 strokes, then to fish place for dinner with both kids and their fiance’s. No rehab exercises. Doesn’t get better than that.
And happy belated birthday to you, Amy.
